The International Guest Lecture Series at Duale Hochschule Sachsen – Staatliche Studienakademie Riesa welcomed Prof. Dr. Roh Pin Lee from Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus–Senftenberg to a full house on January 7, 2026.
In her talk, “Multidimensional STEEP Approach for the Decarbonization & Transformation of Industry: Key Role of Science Communication for the Successful Transfer from Science to Practice,” Prof. Dr. Lee challenged the audience to think beyond purely technical solutions. Drawing on perspectives from science, technology, economics, environment, and politics, she highlighted why effective science communication is crucial for turning research into real-world impact.
